All new Acuras are protected by a warranty for four years or 50,000 miles. You can extend this protection further with an Acura Care Vehicle Service Contract (VSC). As your Acura dealership, we want to tell you some of the extended warranty benefits of choosing one of these VSCs.
Peace of Mind
An Acura VSC covers all the components detailed in the contract if repair or replacement is required. Any work necessary is performed by Acura-trained technicians using Acura-approved replacement parts. This protects your warranty and ensures the repair meets the high standards set by Acura. Any parts installed are also covered by warranty for a specified time.
You only pay the deductible specified in the VSC, and some plans include a disappearing deductible. This means the repair or replacement will be provided at no charge if it’s provided by the dealership where you bought the plan. In addition, choosing a VSC means you don’t have to budget for repair costs.
Options for All Vehicle Ages
Acura Care VSCs are available for vehicles in all stages of life, with six options to choose from. New Vehicle Coverage applies to vehicles still covered by their original warranty. Pre-Owned Coverage, Powertrain Coverage, and Certified Additional Coverage apply to vehicles that are five years old or less and have less than 80,000 miles on the odometer.
Older vehicles are also protected by the Certified Used Additional Coverage and the Certified Used Powertrain Coverage, which apply to vehicles that are between five and ten years old and have more than 80,000 miles on the odometer.
Roadside Assistance
Complimentary roadside assistance is provided with every VSC. If you have any problem on the road, skilled technicians are available to come to you and fix the problem. This assistance is available 24/7/365, and their services include jump-starting your Acura, tire changes, emergency fuel delivery, lockout assistance, and many others.
There is no charge for the roadside assistance itself, but some services have an additional cost; for example, if emergency fuel is delivered, the cost for the fuel must be paid on delivery. If your vehicle can’t be repaired on the road, the technicians will tow it to the closest Acura dealer.
Rental Car Reimbursement
If your Acura can’t be driven due to an issue covered by your VSC, you’re eligible for reimbursement of up to $45 per day for six days toward the cost of renting a car.
Trip Interruption Benefit
Being stranded far from home is stressful. If you’re 100 miles or more from home and your Acura needs a repair, Acura Care will cover you for up to $300.00 per day for up to three days for the costs of accommodation and food.
